UCL - Institute of the Americas will be hosting a panel on the US Presidential Elections in the aftermath of this momentous event. Four UCL specialists on US affairs offer instant commentary on the 2012 US election results and their significance. Adam Smith places the presidential election outcome in its historical context; Alan Ware assesses the outcome of the election for the two main parties; Tony McCulloch considers the role of foreign policy in the election; and Iwan Morgan reviews the importance of the economy for the result and whether the outcome portends economic policy change.
